UK Sales Charts: Gran Turismo 7 Still Leading the Pack Following Online Issues

Last week was a tough one for Gran Turismo 7. A big patch was released that caused the racing title some serious online connectivity issues, putting it out of commission for a couple of days. A hot fix was pushed out, and alongside it, the game caught extra heat for its stingy currency output, leading fans to award Polyphony’s latest with the worst user score a Sony game has ever received. While all this has been happening, the game is still doing very well at retail in the UK — this is its third consecutive week at number one.
This is despite a couple of new releases entering the top 10 and strong competition from the likes of Elden Ring. FromSoftware’s action RPG has moved up a spot from third to second, swapping places with WWE 2K22. Horizon Forbidden West glides down a few spots, moving from fourth to seventh.
As for those new titles, we have Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin debuting in eighth position selling predominantly on PlayStation 5, and Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach, which just claws its way into 10th place.
Here’s the latest top 10 in full.
