Dragonlord Placidusax is a Boss in Elden Ring. This is a Two-headed Giant Dragon. This is an optional boss you don’t need to defeat this boss to progress in the game. But defeating them will reward you with useful items and Runes.

Location

This boss can be found by the existing elevator before the fight against Maliketh, the Black Blade.

How to defeat Dragonlord Placidusax

The boss is a giant two-headed boss with red lightning fire around. You can encounter this boss before fighting with Maliketh, the Black Blade. You need to be level up to 100 or more.

First Phase

This is a difficult boss to defeat having a lot of HP. You will see the dragon will throw green and yellowish fire from his mouth for three to four seconds. You can create some distance to avoid this attack.

The second one is lightning will appear on the ground then he will charge and smash his hand on the ground which will create a massive fire around. You can also counter this by creating distance.

Second Phase

In the second phase, you will see a dragon will fly and disappear then reappear to attack you from nowhere. You have to watch your surroundings to dodge this attack.

Then he will disappear in lightning clouds in front of you and attack you. You can dodge this attack by rolling towards the opposite side of the attack. In the end, you will see massive lightning strikes and the boss will through fire and laser beam fire from both of his mouths for a long time. The best way to defeat this attack is to attack at his feet and get cover behind his back. Once you understand his attack pattern you will defeat this boss easily.
