Nascent Butterfly is an ingredient for crafting in Elden Ring. It is one of the rarest ingredients in Elden ring which is used to craft recipes that increase the strength of the player by boosting different attributes.

Where to find the Nascent Butterfly

Well, you can buy it from Nomadic Merchant in Siofra River for 1500 runes. He is in the Worshipper’s Woods at the given location on the map.

How to get Nascent Butterfly and its use in Elden Ring

He is South-West from the site of grace. To get to the Merchant go in the direction there will be a tower with a wooden platform around it. Go up the stairs and there will be a ladder.

Climb up the ladder and go ahead there will be another ladder climb that one too then go a bit left and look under there is a platform jump on to that a go along the platform and you will see a cave. Go into the cave and go left and jump down and you will hear him playing music. Go talk to him and you can purchase the Nascent Butterfly from him.

Other than buying a Nascent Butterfly from the Nomadic Merchant, you can get it from the following locations.

⦁ Mountain Gelmir: You can find one at the edge of the mountain near the site of Ninth Mountain Gelmir Campsite.

⦁ Crumbling Farum Azula: You can find two on a corpse by a tree, after ascending the dragon temple lift.

⦁ Perfumer’s Ruins: You can find one behind the Giant yellow poison flower.

⦁ Sage’s Cave: It is on the west side of the Altus Plateau; you can find one in the treasure chest.

⦁ Castle Sol: You can find one in a room filled with skeletal slimes. It is on a corpse by a ladder.

Use of Nascent Butterfly

Nascent Butterfly is used in crafting the following items and is used as a material in their crafting.

  • Dappled cured Meat.
  • Dappled White cured Meat.
